Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood, rumored girlfriend of Mickey Rourke, plaything of Marilyn Manson, and star of Woody Allens latest film did a fetishy photoshoot for GQ May 2009 magazine.  She wore thing high black rimmed stockings and mod retro lingerie for the front page. 

Further in you find her in the image we featured- tied to a chair and working her way loose.  The lingerie was provided by agent provacatuer and the patent leather boots - well, you can't afford them anyway (Maison Martin Margiela).  Is it wrong that a magazine as mainstream and prep centric as GQ features hot actresses in bondage situations? 

Harpers Bazaar Leather

Harpers Bizarre April 2009 published this shot of a pale skinned and dark eyed model in a beautiful and elegant leather jacket / dress.  Note the attention to detail in the sleeves - the puff cap style, as well as the oversize ribbon at the neck and sexy deep slit starting at the waist and extending out of view.

Truly a masterpiece of leather work.  Alas, we do lament on how these types of shots seem overdone in fashion magazines over the last several years.  The dark eye makeup, cold lighting - it's mainstream stealing from Goth and hey Harpers - it's nothing new.  Tell us what you think, we love to hear your comments.

Latex Lady Gaga

Controversy seems to follow Lady Gaga, aka Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, wherever she goes.  Primarily because she is so inclined to start it.  It almost seems as if she knows her time in the starlight is limited, so why not make as much noise as possible while she's there.

There are numerous pics of Gaga romping about the streets in over the top fashions - quite a few in latex.  Here are a few pictures of her wearing a black latex bra and rear zip pink pencil skirt.  She was doing a guest DJ spot at Maya before heading out to Bungalow 8 in New York.

Leather clad Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale must have a proclivity for dressing fetish, as there is no shortage of images of her on the internet sporting anything from leather to latex.  Her role as Selene in the Underworld series of movies was her first foray into the world of latex dressing, as her costume consisted of a black catsuit tpyically paired with an ornate leather corset.

In these pics she can be seen wearing a dominatrix inspired black leather dress heading to the CK Fashion Show In NYC. 

Maybelline Patent Vinyl

Maybelline has come out with an ad for Mascara called, "Lash Stiletto: The only mascara that does for lashes what stilettos do for legs".  In front of an image of a models face wearing said mascara there is a pair of vinyl clad legs with shiny black stilettos and red tips on the heel.

Maybe she's born with it.  Maybe it's Maybelline.  Maybe we don't care, but we did appreciate the ad

Kiki De Montparnasse Corset

Vibe magazine March 2009 featured this shot of a stunningly dark and beautiful gothic black vinyl corset.  The vinyl appears to have bats etched in for a more witching effect, and if you look closely at the laces the sewing around them it resembles a coffin.  Excellent attention to detail.

What we particularly liked about the photo and the piece was the intermixing of hip-hop with goth, in a fashion mashup that pits two genre's not normally linked together.  If any of our readers can tell us who the artist is featured in the photo please let us know and we will add that in.

Britney and Anne

Todays post comes from an US Weekly article from January 2009 on Britney Spears and Anne Hathaway.  Spears recently released a new album entitled "Circus" and to the surprise of us all has had good success and seemingly made her comeback.  She's worked out hard, and it paid off as can be seen in this shot of her in leather jeans.

Anne Hathaway also underwent a stringent workout program in an effort to shed some pounds and harden up her body.  Inspired with greater confidence, she showed off her gains in a couture leather dress shown here.

Hot Leather Dress

This is a shot of a hot leather dress on a strong sexy black model.  The shot comes from W magazine January 2009 edition.  The model is wearing sultry brown leather mid length dress with tie belt around the waist and platform sandalrs made of what looks like a crocadile print in matching brown leather.  That's a lot of leather for one outfit!

Rhiana's Leather Top

Rhiana tends to wear a lot of fetishy outfits.  From her video "Rain" to her shiny and seductive stage outfits, it's not hard to come up with images of her in fetish clothing.

Rashida Robinson in Leather

Rashida Robinson sported a pair of thigh high leather boots along with an innocent flowing white dress with black belt and black gloves for a photoshoot published in the December 2008 issue of Vibe magazine.  Marc Baptiste shot this image on Septermber 25, 2008 in Los Angeles.

Rashida is an up and coming DJ who got her big break when she auditioned for Randy Jackson, a judge on American Idol.  She holds a BS in art from the Atlanta College of Art.
