Kate Rodger
Today’s posting is a Flashback Friday quickie. I’ve never seen this movie that Kate Rodger was in but, I can bet it’s worth a peek at for this weekend to see her in slick PVC pants as she kicks a guy’s ass. She’s twice as sexy as she does it in PVC as well as killing an evil henchwoman. Kate Rodger is an actress who appears in the movie “Last Stand” that came out in 2000. She played the character Kate Major. Now there’s woman I’d love to take orders from. Included below is a link to the Last Stand movie trailer posted on Amazon.com. If this is the weekend to stay in, maybe catch up with Last Stand as Kate brings back Sci-Fi the way it should be.

Shannen Doherty
So without further a due, I mentioned yesterday of my posting of Shannen Doherty today. I remember her from my old days of “Beverly Hills, 90210”. It was then when she picked up a reputation as being a bitch and I will cover more of that later on. I also remember seeing her in “Charmed” which was the other show she was known for. Again she built up her bitch reputation but, hey…the girl had a rough past. Besides being an actress she is also a TV director. Of course her best known work includes playing Heather Duke in Heathers (1989), Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1994) and Prue Halliwell in Charmed (1998–2001).
It was in Beverly Hills, 90210 when she made a name for herself in more ways than one. By 1991 and 1992, she won the Young Artist Award nomination for being the Best Young Actress Starring in a TV series. Then in 2004, she earned the #10 spot as the 50 Most Wicked Women of Prime Time according to “E!”. In fact she earned every bit of it when she was fired from 90210 in 1994 which was during the fourth season because of tension with her co-stars. She was then replaced by Tiffani Amber Thiessen who portrayed bad girl Valerie Malone. (See my past entry on Tiffani Amber Thiessen)
In 1998, Shannen was given another chance to repair her name on the television series of Charmed. Her character was Prue where she was the oldest of three sisters that realize they are witches. What a coincidence. She also had another responsibility on the show as a director for a few episodes. Once again by the end of the third season in 2001 she left the show. This time she was replaced by Rose McGowan who plays Paige Matthews. (See my past entry on Rose McGowan) It was no surprise that once again, she left the set due to friction with co-star Alyssa Milano. Meow…(See my past entry on Alyssa Milano)
Even with all the drama, Shannen was still recognized for her work in 2007. “AOL” named her for her work as Prue as the 10th greatest witch in TV history and also ranked as #96 on “Entertainment Weekly”’s list of the 100 Greatest Television Icons both that same year. Just recently on March 1, 2010, she was scheduled to be a celebrity star to compete in the tenth season of “Dancing with the Stars”. It was premiered on Monday, March 22, 2010. She has also been featured on “Playboy” nude a number of times being the bad girl that she is. She made her debut on the magazine in December 1993 which led to a spread in March 1994. She made another return in December 2003 featuring in a ten page pictorial as well as the covers of March 1994 & December 2008. She also made the magazine covers of “People” October 11, 1993 and “Radar” October/November 2008. From the photos shown, it’s no surprise a bad girl is usually represented my leather. In this case, PVC for the past and present on this bad girl.

Sarah Michelle Gellar
This week I begin with Sarah Michelle Gellar now known as Sarah Michelle Prinze. She is a TV and a movie actress. I can remember her known for her part as Buffy Summers in the hit TV series of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. It comes to no surprise to me that playing a vampire role that eventually she would be seen in fetish wear down the lines. Her famous part won her six Teen Choice Awards and the Saturn Award for Best Genre TV Actress as well as a nomination for the Golden Globe Award. She was also notable for the character Kendall Hart and winning a Daytime Emmy Award in “All My Children”. As for work on the big screen, the popular movies she’s seen in include “I Know What You Did Last Summer”(1997), “Cruel Intentions” (1999), “Scooby-Doo” (2002), “The Grudge” (2004), “The Return” (2006), “Southland Tales” (2007) and in “The Air I Breathe” (2008). This year she is scheduled for her release in the movie “Veronika Decides to Die”. As for The Grudge, it became her most successful part earning $39.1 million opening weekend and a grossed total of over $110 million just in the US.
In her earlier days at the age of four, she was discovered by an agent in a Uptown Manhattan restaurant. It was two weeks later when she auditioned for “An Invasion of Privacy”. Since then, she has been a natural in the media ending up in a controversial TV commercial for “Burger King”. Her part raised eyebrows for criticizing McDonald’s and only eating at Burger King. Of course because of this notion, it led to a lawsuit by McDonald’s.
By 1992, she made her major debut in “Swans Crossing” and this is when she became a regular as Kendall Hart in the soap opera All My Children. Here she played the part as the long-lost daughter of Erica Kane. Three years later turning 18 in 1995, she won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series. The soap also made a networking connection with Michelle Trachtenberg who later joined her as co-actresses in the 1997 TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Strangely enough, Sarah admits that she has a phobia of being buried alive also making it impressive how long she stayed on the set of Buffy.
“I really fear graveyards and I have a big phobia of being buried alive. It was really hard being an ass-kicking vampire slayer when you are afraid of graves.”
As for her TV success, she also built commercial fame in the movies such as “Scream 2” (1997) and the romantic comedy “Simply Irresistible” (1999). Her other media works include hosting Saturday Night Live in 1998, 1999 and 2002 and in a few comedy sketches. She made a guest appearance as Debbie in the HBO series “Sex and the City” in 2000 in the “Escape from New York” episode. Her voice was also used in cartoon show such as “The Simpsons”, “King of the Hill” and “Robot Chicken”.
Since she was a child, she is no stranger to modeling for magazines. A handful of magazine covers she is seen on include FHM (France) October 2000, Cosmopolitan August 2002, Seventeen May 2003, Maxim December 2007 & (UK) May, Glamour and Gotham March 2008. In Maxim’s “Hot 100” list, she made years 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2008. The 2008 issue she was on the cover as Woman of the Year and she placed under the top five under their “Hot 100” list. FHM included her in their “100 Sexiest Women” of 2005 and she was voted as #1 in the 1999 issue. She was then placed as #54 in 2007 on their “Hot 100” list. She was even featured in FHM issues around the world as a sex symbol in German, Dutch, South African, Danish and Romanian editions and making their 100 Sexiest Women lists every year since 1998. In 1998, People magazine named her as one of the “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” and Glamour listed her as “50 Best Dressed Women in the World” in 2004 and 2005 as #17 and #24 respectively. She made Entertainment Weekly’s Top 12 Entertainers of the Year in 1998 as #3 and in 2007 as their Top 100 TV Icons. As for Esquire magazine, she comments on her work in Buffy:
“I truly believe that it is one of the greatest shows of all time and it will go down in history as that. And I don’t feel that that is a cocky statement. We changed the way that people looked at television.”
Besides the magazines, she has made many other media appearances. She was a celebrity spokesperson for Maybelline and was seen in campaigns such as the “Got Milk?” ads. In 2007, she did the Vaseline “Skin Is Amazing” campaign along with Hilary Duff. (See my past entry on Hilary Duff) In the UK’s Channel 4 she places as #16 as their Greatest Sex Symbols in 2007. Sarah even appears in the Stone Temple Pilots music video for “Sour Girl” and Marcy Playground’s “Comin’ Up From Behind”. In 2002 and 2003, she ranks as #8 as Google’s Top 10 Women searches and “Topsocialite.com” also listed her as the 8th Sexiest woman of the 90s listed with Alicia Silverstone, Gillian Anderson and Shannen Doherty. As a sneak peak on my posting for tomorrow, I will be recognizing Shannen Doherty so be sure to catch my entry tomorrow. Until then…(See my past entries for Alicia Silverstone & Gillian Anderson in fetish) Back on the April 2, 1998 Rolling Stone #783 issue magazine cover, Sarah appears in latex gloves. She is definitely a deadlier vampire slayer as you can see in PVC.

Debra Stephenson
As we all know today is April Fools Day, what better way to recognize the day than with a comedian!? Comedian Debra Stephenson is also a British actress, impressionist and a singer. As a comic actress, she has done parts on the radio and TV. Her work includes in 2000 with the sketch show “TV to Go” and in 2002 as Hosanna in BBC Radio 4’s comedy “At Home with the Snails”. Then in 2005, she participated in Comic Relief does Fame Academy placing #5. This program was a singing competition featuring celebrities to raise money for charity.
She starred as Frankie Baldwin in the UK most popular soap opera “Coronation Street” who is the wife of Danny beginning in June 2004 to December 31, 2006. Her performance has led her to receive nominations for “Best Newcomer” in television and soap awards shows. That same year in 2006, she was featured on the cover of “Woman” (UK) October 2006 magazine.
In 1999, Debra took on the character Michelle “Shell” Dockley in the ITV prison drama “Bad Girls”. Her character was scripted as psychotic and she won two years of nominations for Best Actress at the National Television Awards in 1999 and 2000. As playing the role of the show’s most popular character she retired from the show in 2001 and made an appearance on the show for one last time in 2003. Her picture shown was from Bad Girls in a PVC outfit which I believe came from Episode 5.1 in 2003.
Helen Hunt
I remember watching Helen Hunt in “Twister” but, now I can remember looking even better as a Las Vegas cocktail waitress in “Pay It Forward”. Not only is she an actress, she is also a movie director and screenwriter. Her other known Hollywood work include “Cast Away” and “What Women Want”. She is even seen on the magazine cover of “Redbook” May 2008 issue.
Helen began her career as a child actress in the 1970s but, it was the 1990s when she made a breakthrough. She became popularly recognized with TV audiences in the sitcom “Mad About You” for seven years and won Emmy Awards for the show every year from 1996 to 1999 in a row. She also became the director of the program for a few episodes including the series finale but, it was the movie “Then She Found Me” in 2008 where she made her big-screen directorial debut as well as starring in it. In 1998, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress in the movie “As Good as It Gets”. In the movie, she plays the character Carol Connelly who is a waitress and single mother. As the character Carol, she ends up falling in love with Melvin Udall who is an obsessive-compulsive romance novelist. Coincidentally, Helen takes on another role as a waitress and single mother in the 2000 movie Pay It Forward. This time she is a sexy mother playing the character Arlene McKinney who is a Las Vegas cocktail waitress in PVC skirt. I guess this is the true definition of a MILF. Below are some clips and a video link of Helen in a rare sighting of her in fetish in the movie Pay It Forward.
