E-Rotic
If there was any group with a classic name, it would have to be E-Rotic. This group was a German eurodance project. They are remembered for their sexual topics in their music. The band originally began with American-born Raz-Ma-Taz Richard Michael Smith and Lyane Leigh in 1994. They recorded together throughout the 1990s. It was in June 1996 when the both of them departed from the group because of a disagreement between the producer David Brandes and Lyane. Jeanette Christensen joined the group from 1996 until she left in 2001. In 1999 when Jeanette attempted to enter the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 to represent Germany but, in the pre-selection she placed 6th.

Because of their contract, both Michael and Lyane stayed on board with their vocal work in albums until 1999. With the talents of these two original members, they once again got back on the horse to create their own new group called “S.E.X. Appeal”. Apparently with all the sex in their mind, Lyane literally lives up to the name of the group of Sex Appeal in her vinyl outfit.

In October 30, 1999 finally broke out of the German fans to Japan. They began to gain popularity with the fans in Japanese arcades with the Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix (DDR) Konami's dance simulation video game. It was licensed there with the Toshiba-Emi record label and at the same time represented the Dancemania line of dance music albums. The success with DDR granted them the title as the record holder as the second most licensed artist in the history of DDR.
It was in May 17, 2005 when Konami released the newest addition of the American Dance Dance Revolution series for PlayStation 2 titled “Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME 2”. E-Rotic became one of the first few licensed artists to be recognized after the games release and eventually became a best hits collection for Sony Playstation. The Dancemania Presents E-ROTIC Megamix album was released on September 27, 2000 in Japan. Below is a great picture representing the group name with Jeanette Christensen on the album cover in blue vinyl jeans.
Ace of Base
Back in the days much younger I remember listening to the beats of Ace of Base. They were a pop band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was made up of originally four members, Ulf Ekberg (Buddha) and siblings Jonas Berggren (Joker), Jenny Berggren and former member Malin "Linn" Berggren. She departed from the group in 2007. Together they debuted their first album in 1993 which sold over 30 million albums worldwide. I remember their songs "All That She Wants" and "The Sign" which topped the charts. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), The Sign was listed as the Top 100 Bestselling Albums of All Time.
It all began back in the years of 1993–1994 when the song All That She Wants became the band’s breakthrough song. The single stayed at the #2 spot when in October 1992 the release made it to the #1 spot in the Danish charts. It didn’t take long until a few months later when this song made the #3 spot in Sweden and a successful #1 spot in Germany for eight weeks. Becoming a hit around the world, it was in May the song made the charts in the UK for three weeks. It was by the end of 1993 when the song finally sat at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The second album “The Bridge” gained success in 1995–1996 with their song "Beautiful Life". In the UK and here in the US it hit its high at #15. Since the times in the spotlight in 2007 and sister Linn Berggren’s departure from the band the trio continued to play gigs in Europe and Asia. It is scheduled that Ace of Base plans to release a fifth studio album next year in 2010. In the two photos shown, sisters Jenny Berggren and Linn Berggren both show how much of an ace they are in vinyl jackets.

With the strong influence of Ace of Base, one of my latex fetish favorites Lady Gaga’s new album “The Fame Monster” was made. On Black Friday I watched Lady Gaga perform on the Ellen show in a sparkling mask and a latex dress for her new album. Here's a link to her "Bad Romance" on Ellen HQ performance: www.youtube.com/watch

Alana Dante
Christel Hoogewijs better known as Alana Dante was born December 1, 1969. Today I recognize her birthday one day early so, Happy Birthday to Christel Hoogewijs! She is a Belgium-born singer mainly popular in the Flanders region. At the age of 12, she attended a music academy where she took violin and singing lessons for about eight years. With her musical talent, she took to the discos and performed at karaoke clubs in Belgium. At this time she began her professional career in 1997 by being discovered by a Belgian dance-producer by the name of Peter Neefs. He discovered her and noticed her talent that he began working with her in a studio to find songs to complement her voice. It was the Celine Dion's worldwide hit "Think Twice" which they chose as a first choice. They created a dance version of the song and it became her first released single.
In the year of 1998, she made a breakthrough hit with "Take me for a ride". She repeated another with an even bigger hit with her next single "The Life of the Party". Also, in the year of 1998 she was chosen as the winner twice for the Radio Donna-Peper Award and Radio 2. The following year in 1999, she won with the song "Get ready for the Sunsand" single for the third semifinal of the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest. She can be seen in many international TV shows like Planet Inn Show, O3-hitparade and The Golden Rose of Montreux. Christel is diversified in studies of a bit of everything from designing, human science, beautician to marketing. She has even worked at a bakery for a few years and later began her own fitness center. She sure sounds like my kind of woman especially with me being into fitness. She is definitely a plus all the way with her in her black and red PVC cat suits, I would gladly love to take her for a ride!

Whigfield

Sannie Charlotte Carlson is the real name of the band Whigfield. The name Whigfield was a name that was a tribute to her long time piano teacher. Whigfield is also known as Naan which Sannie later changed it to. She is a Danish singer who is well known for her summer 1993 popular single song "Saturday Night". This single became a huge hit in the summer of 1993. It was then when she earned the title as the first ever non-UK or American artist to debut a #1 spot on the UK Singles Chart. This song also gained popular recognition around the world like Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, Canada, France, India, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries and especially the Philippines being a favorite the summer of 1994.
Her other songs made #14 and #6 spots with "Gimme Gimme" and "Sexy Eyes" in Australia and here in the United States. In 1995, Saturday Night made #19 and "Another Day" made #21 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. More recently, "Doo Whop" became her last song sensation worldwide. Once again, it gained the attention of countries making a hit in Mexico, Canada and Venezuela. Since this past May 2009 her video "Right In The Night" plays and charts on Canada's BPM:TV dance music television station.
A while ago she followed the steps of Milli Vanilli where she was accused for not singing her own songs. This was justified because she performed all her live performances lip synching. It became obviously clear because compared to her regular speaking voice, her recorded tracks are recorded with a high-pitched voice. She was probably better off recording in her vinyl wear instead. As she waits for Saturday night, she looks just fantastic in matching vinyl gloves and pants. Just as good in a red vinyl dress.

Alyssa Milano
A long time favorite of mine watching “Who's the Boss?” was Alyssa Milano. She is just much as a fav after discovering how amazing she can look in latex. Another plus finding out she was somewhat from my neck of the woods back in the days relocated from Staten Island to Hollywood. As you can see, she is not only an actress but, a former singer as well. When she was eight, she began her career in acting winning a part in an open audition for the national tour for the Broadway show “Annie”. At the time she appeared in TV commercials and other productions aside from Broadway.
It was between (1984-1992) at the age of 11 when she landed her first major role on the sitcom Who's the Boss?. Her well known role as Samantha Micelli the daughter of Danza's character, Tony Micelli is what made her famous and gave me those old childhood memories of her. She also appears in the 1985 movie “Commando” as Jenny Matrix where she plays as the daughter of John Matrix played by Arnold Schwarzenegger who happens to be an all time classic hero of mine. In 1988 she produced a teen workout video called “Teen Steam”. I wonder if Arnold had some kind of influence with this!?
Her success moved quickly as she was growing up fast. At this time of her life she decided to strip herself of her "nice girl" image by targeting adults in a few movies such as Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story (1993), Embrace of the Vampire (1994), Deadly Sins (1995), and Poison Ivy II: Lily (1996), Jennifer Mancini on Melrose Place (1997-1998), Meg Winston in Spin City and for eight years as Phoebe Halliwell in the supernatural series of Charmed (1998-2006). By the year of 2005, she was ranked as #5 on the list of the "50 Cutest Child Stars — All Grown Up". She sure crushed her "nice girl" image when she decided to get eight tattoos. She has tattoos all over her body from places such as each ankle and wrist, shoulder, hip, lower back to her neck.
"I am an amateur photographer. I took this during an episode where my character, Phoebe, goes undercover as a dominatrix. It's hard looking at photos of ourselves, but I can look at this shot and see someone else." -Alyssa Milano
She has also done commercial work in the Josie music video by Blink-182 and television ads/commercials for Veet and Sheer Cover in 2007. In that same year, she released her signatured female sports apparel line “Touch” which is a clothing line designed for female baseball fans. She sells them through her Major League Baseball's website and blog. As for her magazine covers, she seen in Stuff, Maxim March 1998, Cosmopolitan November 2000 and FHM November 2002.
When Alyssa had an interview in 2004, she explains how she copes with her dyslexia.
"I've stumbled over words while reading from teleprompters. Sir John Gielgud, whom I worked with on The Canterville Ghost years ago, gave me great advice. When I asked how he memorized his monologues, he said, 'I write them down.' I use that method to this day. It not only familiarizes me with the words, it makes them my own."
Aside from her disorder with dyslexia, she is also a vegetarian. Being a vegetarian, she supports PETA and does many advertising campaigns for vegetarianism appearing in a dress non-animal friendly made of vegetables. I guess her mom didn’t encourage her to eat her vegetables but, to wear them. She is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the United States as well.

Gabrielle Union
Today I present what looks like a one shot deal in latex fetish for my two popular actresses. So I guess it makes these two postings today a rare sighting seeing them in fetish wear. Who knows, maybe it'll catch on and they'll join the ranks of our favorites latex singers Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta as Lady GaGa and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussy Cat Dolls.
We begin with actress and ex-model Gabrielle Union. She has done a lot of work with many other celebrity stars either on the screen or in the music industry. Some highlights of her media attention include working with Kirsten Dunst in 2000 in the movie “Bring It On”as Isis the cheerleader, work with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the movie “Bad Boys II” and in 2003 starring with LL Cool J and Meagan Good in her first leading role “Deliver Us from Eva”.
She appears in “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” in the sixth-season episode in 1997 as a Klingon by the name of N'Garen. She plays as Keesha Hamilton in five episodes of "7th Heaven". It was the movie Bring It On that increased her mainstream attention and made her notable for her role as medical doctor Dr. Courtney Ellis in the CBS drama series “City of Angels”.
Once again, she stars with Busta Rhymes as his love in his music video for Rhymes' "I Love My Chick" in 2006. She appears in another music video "Miss Independent" by Ne-Yo. It was in 2008 when she makes her appearance in a total of three episodes (36-38) in “Ugly Betty” as Renee. Recently this year she was in a brief four episodes of the U.S. TV series “Life” on NBC until the show cancelled in May 2009. This is when she took her next opportunity on September 24, 2009 once again starring with John Cho and Joseph Fiennes in the ABC series “FlashForward”.
Gabrielle has been in magazines such as “Maxim” and covers of “Essence” in July and “Vegas” Magazine March 2008. She even appears in the July 2008 cover of “Honey” in a blue latex dress. Now that’s what I call some serious honey. Back in 1992 when she was 19, she was attacked, beaten and raped at her part-time job in a shoe store. Apparently her attacker felt guilty that he turned himself in and served a 33 year prison term. This experience motivated her to become an advocate for victims of sexual assault. Good thing she didn’t have her latex dress on, things could have probably been worse!

Lorena Bianchetti
My next entry recognizes an Italian TV presenter, journalist, actress and author, Lorena Bianchetti. She is well known for making her appearance Christmas Day of 1999 to 2005 live each Sunday morning on "Rai Uno" at 10:30am. She is shown in the show in collaboration with the Italian Episcopal Conference. She has led the program "Special Rai International” for two years broadcasting for Italians around the world Monday to Friday. The program in every episode interviews different people around the world in literature, the movies and TV. She was also voted by radio listeners as the best radio presenter from September to November 2008 on Radio 2, "The Gingerbread Man Plays". The photos are from Rai where she wears a rubber shirt. For more in her rubber top, I left a link of a video of her in Italian. Chao!

Xuxa

Maria da Graça Meneghel or better known as Xuxa is a Brazilian singer, TV actress and a host of a children's TV show. Her shows can be seen broadcasted in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. As well as her diversification broadcasted in different languages, she is German, Austrian, Italian, and Polish. She is even a Brazilian Grammy Award Winner.
At a young age of 15, she caught the attention of a magazine publisher on her way home. The publisher noticed the blue-eyed blond on the train and personally invited her to take part in an audition to be a model. It was then a year later when she ended up on the cover of a Brazilian magazine. Other magazines followed such as the centerfold for Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Nova and Playboy (Brazil) December 1982. By the time she hit 20, she had the opportunity to run her own television show titled “Clube de Criança” (which means Children's Club). This was a big breakthrough in her life as it caught the attention of Latin America's media giant, “Globo TV”. She was a natural with how much success her show has gained considering her connection on camera with her way with the children. She dominated the 1980s with many of her licensed products such as bubble gum, televisions, shampoos, soap, food, books, clothes, shoes, dolls, toys, video games and board games. As you can see, she was literally a Brazilian idol. Many children born in the 1980s and 1990s still have a memory of her. Today she is still just as popular with the children as Brazil’s children presenter and is listened to on her CD collection “Só Para Baixinhos”.
Her popularity gained popularity quickly from 1991 to 1993 as she became a sensation in all of Latin America. She began recording the program “Show de Xuxa” in Argentina which then became a hit in Chile, Mexico and 16 other Latin American countries, as well as “Univision” here in the US. The most popular were the first two seasons of the show and the third was produced in 1993. On December 31, 1993 her final Spanish speaking show aired in Latin America. She attempted to host an English show here in the US in 1993 but, the interest of the people did not respond the same as throughout Latin America and Spain. The show finally took off worldwide in countries such as Japan, Israel, Russia, Australia, Romania and some Arab countries.
As for her singing career, she accomplished the second best-selling album in the history of Brazil with her third album. This album sold close to 4 million copies. According to Brazilian charts, she was a singer attaining the second highest total of number-one hits by a female.
In Brazilian history, Xuxa achieved the biggest box office results earning a fortune well over $470 million. She became the richest Brazilian entertainer and one of the richest women in Brazil with a net worth over $350 million. According to Forbes in 1991, she was one of the 40 best-paid celebrities in the world. She also became the first Brazilian to make a double appearance on Forbes Magazine's list of richest artists. Her first in 1991 at 37th place with $19 million and the second at 28th place with $26 million. On this list she was impressively the only Latin American. She made other lists too including in People Magazine in 1992 as the “50 most beautiful people in the world”. She has well earned this title as she is seen in her vinyl costume in the 2001 Halloween Special show “Planeta Xuxa”. Planeta Xuxa was a big hit show aired on Sunday afternoons with musical guests.
