The Difference Between Latex and PVC

With all of the researching and work that I have been doing in the Fetish in the Media section it occurred to me that people in general can’t seem to decipher what is PVC (vinyl) or latex!? So I decided to end the week and this month getting down to the bottom of this. So next time you see either, you don’t have to be as ignorant as the media who write up wrong information.

Latex and rubber (a little thicker) is a dominating favorite and is the most extreme in appearance. Latex leaves almost no surprise to the imagination. It almost looks like it was painted on the body. Latex comes from a milky sap like fluid from trees. Turn it in to clothing and it spells instant sexy. Latex is easily recognized when worn appearing as skin-tight. Thus, it is given the nick name of a “second skin”. Since latex is molded together, they will come out being seamless. Latex needs a bit of maintenance especially to condition it and give it that amazing luster. It requires a shining with lube or silicon spray giving it that oily slick appearance.

PVC or vinyl is one of my favorites. It is a shiny plastic made out of polyurethane (PU). The PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride. PVC wear is distinguishable in the way it has seems. It doesn’t hug every curve of the body and is easily identifiable because if fits usually looser. When taken care of, it maintains its shine forever and doesn’t require any maintenance. Lastly, it is generally slightly thicker. 

Now that I covered the basics, hopefully more people can stop calling PVC latex. I also see the media calling spandex leggings latex leggings a lot. Maybe they need to have a look at my entry. As a quick quiz, can you tell which is latex and which is PVC below?

Happy Valentine’s Day to All!!!

Well, today is another year of Valentine’s Day and another day which I like to call a Hallmark day just for businesses to make an extra buck or two on flowers, candies and cards. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day since I’ve only celebrated it for a very short time but, you have to admit the creativity in spicing up the night has gotten very interesting. Throw in a little fetish and you get a hotter and steamier night with your significant other. We leave the rest for your imagination.

As Valentine’s Day is a great way to refresh that attraction in great relationships, I definitely see it as a day to love someone or even something. From NY, I thought I’d add this image as it works as a two for one. Whoever thought of it couldn’t have been more of a genius! For what is left of this day, spread the love and don’t forget to leave the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door handle!

Happy Chinese New Year

Tomorrow is technically Chinese New Year but, today I want to pay my respects early on New Years Eve to all those celebrating the Chinese New Year. It can also be referred to as the Lunar New Year. According to the Lunar Calendar, this new year is considered the longest and most important traditional Chinese holidays. This year is the year of the Tiger which also happens to land on Valentine’s Day. With that combination, you can be sure to see loads of red as red is supposed to symbolize good luck. Usually early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy happy new year. In return, they receive money in red envelops. Besides making a little extra money in to the new year, one of the best parts about this festivity is on the Eve of Chinese New Year, they have a feast with family with special foods such as pigs, ducks, chicken, long noodles and many sweets. What it all comes down to is that the Chinese New Year tradition is an excellent way to wipe clean of all grudges and to wish peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone.

Wednesday night I watched an episode of "Criminal Minds" and there was a part when the FBI busted in the Call Girl's room, one of the agents discovers a PVC Satanic Nun outfit. HBO Documentary on Real Sex in Fetish - Pornucopia

Last night I happened to watch an HBO Documentary on “Real Sex”. It was basically about the different genres of sex. They include old school sex as well as the new school which brought up fetish in sex. The documentary was titled Real Sex – Pornucopia and ran for about a 4 and a half minute segment. When they finally got to the section of Fetish sex after at the end of a two part series, they interviewed and/or modeled two ladies all in latex and rubber. Both ANASTASIA & PAIGE were Bondage Film Stars. One lady brought up a few good points. One lady says she doesn’t even like normal sex anymore. Also the fact of a beautiful mistress kicking her ass and that she is lucky to be doing this. She then says it’s better than drinking or doing drugs. Then she mentioned that it’s about forced orgasms and that you’re not allowed to have one. She finally comments “It’s all about a different way of getting off. It’s all about kinky really…we all want to pleasure our selves somehow.”

Today is a day to give thanks for everything. Me, I want to give a special thanks to everyone here at Fetish Buzz and the wonderful site it's been as I lived here since this past summertime. It's been a great experience here and the wonderful people who I've met one way or another. I am also truly thankful for all of the models of fetish here that make our lives here more enjoyable. Halloween 2009 in NYC

Well, I finally recovered from my long waited night celebrating Halloween this past Saturday in New York City. I have to say the experience was great! My first experience with fetish began that night as I walked in to a costume shop. It had a beautiful selection of PVC costumes. If anyone went to the Village Parade in NYC, they would have been caught in rain that night. That didn't stop people from coming out and it especially brought out a few girls in PVC costumes which was perfect for the weather.

Later that night I ended up at the White Rabbit club and the first thing I saw dancing in the front window entrance was a girl dressed as red PVC nurse. That was the perfect way to end my Halloween experience that night. From the picture, it was quite obvious she wanted to flaunt off her hot costume dancing in the front window and she even posed for the picture. She was even in the same spot when I left the club that night. I was lucky to have gotten one good picture the whole night. My NYC Halloween experience was just great. Although I didn't see any ladies in latex, the funny thing is all I got was girls on a float that were topless due to their body painting in the parade. Looks like there wasn't as much PVC costumes as much as I anticipated but, it was a good night anyways. Looking forward to Halloween 2010! Let's see if fetish becomes more popular next year.

Well, it is finally here. The biggest fetish holiday and party day for fetish on the calendar. It happens to be one of my most favorite holiday as you can see. I will be heading out to NYC tonight to see all of the finest of PVC costumes. If I get lucky, I might even see some in latex. You never know, that's why the digital camera is coming with me tonight. Of course, the trick is to find ladies in sexy PVC costumes and the treat is to actually see them on the most acceptable day in fetish where it is the norm.

I have to admit, the most scary thing that stands in my way is the fact that I will be having very limited internet access for a while.
